Strategic Planning Is Key To Success

WELCOME BACK. The scripture says “Plan carefully and you will have plenty; if you act too quickly, you will never have enough” Proverbs 21:5 (GNT). This is to ultimately understand that planning is a key to success and happiness. It’s also understanding that if you do not have a plan for your own life, you may end up following someone else plan and forgot about your own dreams. Planning is bringing the future into the present so that you can do something meaningful about it. The backbone of success is planning, hard work, determination, and perseverance. When you plan your work, you work your plan. The world belongs to the energetic. Take up one idea, make that one idea your life. Think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let your brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success. The scripture says commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established. Work brings man to life, sets him in motion. Work is man in action doing things. Nothing happens until people go to work. Work creates the world we live in. You see, a vision without a strategy remains an illusion. The essence of strategy is choosing what not to do. You cannot be everything to everyone. If you decide to go north, you cannot go south at the same time. Strategy is about making choices, it’s about deliberately choosing to be different. It’s about setting yourself apart from the competition. It’s not a matter of being better at what you do, it’s a matter of being different at what you do. Success is 20% skills and 80% strategy.

Robert H Schuller said “I’d rather attempt to do something great and fail than to attempt to do nothing and succeed”. To succeed, you must have single-minded devotion to your goal. The best in life never arrived at in haste. God is in no hurry; His plans are never rushed. Those who are settled in life are those that only do what they can with what they have and where they are. Never settle for someone that didn’t know your worth from the beginning, or build a life without God in it. Live beyond your low expectations. You see, one major reason people’s faith does not have tangible success and achievement is the lack of planning. Their visions are suspended in the invisible realm where their goals, visions and dreams do not have any opportunity of finding expression. You need a plan to turn your dreams into reality. Lack of planning is the reason for failure. You see, when you discover the secret of wealth, you will realize that the major key to making money is planning. God is a master planner. He said, For I know the plans I have for you, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. God is a master planner. That doesn’t mean that He reveals it to you at once. If He were to show you every detail of the plan, you would follow the plan and lose sight of God in the process. God want you to follow Him through exercising your faith. Faith brings the invisible to the manifestation of your reality. A life without a plan is contrary to all laws. When you break laws, they break you. When you work very hard without a plan, you lose direction like a ship on the high sea without a compass, because a plan defines your destination and direction in life. Remember, all you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination.
