GUIDED STEPS, NOT GUESSWORK

WELCOME BACK! Guided Steps, Not Guesswork is God’s desire for every believer, especially for leaders entrusted with influence and responsibility. The Bible says in (Psalm 119:105), “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” This reveals that God never intended us to walk blindly through life or leadership. His Word provides light, clear, steady, and sufficient for each step. True leadership is not driven by impulse, trends, or pressure, but by revelation. When God’s Word defines our direction, decisions are no longer reactions; they become responses aligned with divine wisdom (Proverbs 3:5–6). Leaders who submit to Scripture lead with confidence because they are guided, not guessing.
God’s Word is not merely for inspiration; it is for direction. From Moses leading Israel (Exodus 13:21) to Joshua governing a nation (Joshua 1:7–8). The Bible shows that leadership flourishes when God’s voice is obeyed. Leaders who treat the Word as a compass rather than a quote walk in clarity and purpose. David did not consult his emotions before battles; he inquired of the Lord and prospered (1 Samuel 23:2–4). When the Bible governs your decisions, confusion gives way to order, and trial-and-error leadership is replaced with divine precision. God designed life, and leadership, to be lived by His counsel, not human assumption (Isaiah 30:21).
Shifting from self-guided choices to Word-guided steps is a defining mark of spiritual maturity and effective leadership. This means allowing God’s truth to shape how we think, decide, and respond daily, even when it contradicts our feelings or logic (Romans 12:2). Jesus Himself modeled this by submitting every action to the Father’s will, saying, “I do nothing of myself” (John 5:19). Like Peter, who obeyed Jesus’ word and experienced a miraculous catch after a night of failure (Luke 5:4–6), leaders who trust God’s Word over their experience see uncommon results. The Word keeps leaders grounded, discerning, and aligned even in uncertain seasons (Psalm 25:4–5).
Guesswork thrives where God’s Word is ignored, but direction flows where Scripture is honoured. God does not always reveal the entire journey, but He faithfully illuminates the next step (Proverbs 4:18). Abraham followed God without knowing the full destination, yet his obedience established a generational blessing (Hebrews 11:8). When leaders obey what God has already spoken, confusion fades, confidence grows, and clarity increases. We stop wandering and begin walking with assurance because the Word leads the way (Psalm 37:23). Thank you, dear Uplifted Moments family, for choosing God’s Word as your guide. May the Lord order your steps, strengthen your leadership, and grant you wisdom to walk in His light. I pray that every decision you make will be rooted in Scripture and crowned with divine peace, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
