STARTING 2026 RIGHT

Posted on

WELCOME BACK! Starting 2026 right begins with a conscious and intentional decision to place God at the very center of your life. The Bible clearly tells us (Proverbs 16:3), that when we commit our works to the Lord, our thoughts are established, meaning your minds gain focus, direction, and peace. As you stand today on this last day of the year 2025, preparing to cross over into 2026, this truth becomes even more powerful. A year committed to God at the beginning gains divine direction and stability throughout because God alone sees the full picture of your life. (Psalm 37:5), urges us to commit our ways to the Lord and trust Him to bring it to pass, while (Psalm 127:1), reminds us that unless the Lord builds the house, all human effort is wasted. When God lays the foundation of your year, storms may come, but collapse will not follow. What is built with God is preserved by God.

As you cross into a new year, surrendering your plans, goals, and decisions to God in prayer is not optional, it is essential. (Proverbs 3:5–6), instructs us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understanding, promising that He will direct our paths. Prayer is where agreement happens; it is where your will bows to God’s wisdom. Consider Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, He prayed, “Not My will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42). That moment of surrender shaped the salvation of humanity. Likewise, Hannah’s heartfelt prayer and surrender in (1 Samuel 1:10–11), turned her pain into purpose. When you begin the year on your knees, God turns your plans into pathways that lead to fulfillment. Prayer doesn’t just change situations; it changes direction.

Many people step into a new year with resolutions but without revelation, driven by excitement but not by divine instruction. (Jeremiah 29:11), reminds us that God’s plans are for good and for a future filled with hope, while (Isaiah 30:21), assures us that when God leads, we hear His voice saying, “This is the way, walk in it.” When God is the architect of your plans, confusion is replaced with clarity, fear gives way to faith, and pressure turns into peace. Just as Noah followed God’s precise instructions and was preserved through the flood (Genesis 6:22), a life designed by God remains secure through uncertainty. What begins with God is sustained by God. Thank you, Uplifted Moments family, for choosing faith, growth, and alignment. May the Lord establish your steps, crown your efforts with favour, and grant you grace for the journey ahead. I pray that 2026 will be a year of divine clarity, spiritual strength, and lasting stability for you and your household, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
